Every year on November 11th, we celebrate and honor the men and women who have served in our militaries. For the hardships and dark times that these brave heroes have had to endure, by simply saying our thanks to them, we are thanking them for not only their services but their very lives. Without what these men and women have done for this country, we would have no freedom. We are indebted to them. But it is important to remember that there is a difference between Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day. Memorial Day is the day to just honor those men and women who have died in the line of duty. While Veteran’s Day is a day to honor those who have served in our military, but not only the people are who alive but also died. But both equally have importance. So on Veteran’s Day, take the time to go out and thank people you know who have served, whether that be your grandparents, parents, or even friends. They deserve to be honored for their sacrifices to us and this country.
