All Ma Ladies – March Playlist

March is the annual Womens Month! As women, we love to show pride for who we are as a females! Many artists have written songs about the power women have and how amazing we are. They share stories about what kind of pain a female can go through and still come out stronger in the end. Others write about how all of our individuality makes us beautiful. I’ll be sharing those songs with you in this month’s playlist!

Enjoy!

What I Am Passionate About – My Wanderlust Heart & Soul

IMG_4206

The word Wanderlust means, “A very strong or irresistible impulse to travel.” It is one of many words that personally describe me. Susan Sontag once said, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” When people ask about my huge interest in traveling I always consider the question to be a deep one, but I gladly answer.  I want to get out for I have an insane calling to be where I’m not.

And when I say I want to travel I don’t mean I want to stay in resorts and go on tours with tour guides or buy key-chains from souvenir shops. I have no plan to be a tourist. When I say I want to travel, I mean I want to explore another country and become apart of it! I want to discover small coffee shops in France, Italy, and Germany. I want to walk on the beaches in Australia and explore the bookstores and castles in England. I want to hike the Great Wall Of China and go cliff diving in Hawaii! I want to meet people who are not like me, but people who I can like all the same. I want to take pictures of people and things I see! I want my mind to be in constant awe of life on Earth. I want to see things with new eyes.

I want to be able to look at a map and remember all the places I’ve been to and how they have transformed me, by the place, the people and the culture! I want to come home and realize that I have not come home whole, but I have left a piece of my heart in another place. This, I personally think, is what is at the Heart of Adventure. And I plan to make my life one.

October Playlist – Jazzy Times

Jazz

Music is life. That is something that I personally believe. Music can build you up after a hard day, and it can express the emotions of the feelings you cannot describe in just 3 minutes or less. Honestly, where would we be, as humans, without music?

For this month’s music playlist, I was feeling a bit jazzy. Everything from Nat King Cole to Louis Armstrong to Benny Goodman to just jazz instrumental music. I also discovered that jazz music is not only fun to dance to, but is great and beneficial for studying! And that is great for the beginning of the new school year!

We are already having tests coming up to test your knowledge and you will want to be at your best! So in the links below (to my YouTube account), I have made some Jazzy Study Music playlists for all those studying students! There is even one for the little ones, to groove to, while their parents take a quick rest on the couch.
